Rubio Rodríguez is a senior consultant of HEALTH
VALUE. He earned a Master’s degree in Economics
of Health and Medicines from the IDEC-University Pompeu
Fabra (UPF) of Barcelona, a degree in economic evaluations,
health technology assessment and meta-analysis by the
ICS Cochrane Center of Buenos Aires and a degree in technical
engineering from the European University of Madrid (UEM).
His work has developed in areas such as meta-analysis,
economic impact of breastfeeding, genetic platforms, multiple
sclerosis, antimicrobials, rheumathoid arthritis, attention
deficit hyperactivity disorder, coagulation in surgery,
coronary heart disease, diabetes mellitus, schizophrenia,
stroke, follicular lymphoma, venous thromboembolism, etc.
He has published
36 articles in peer-reviewed journals on pharmacoeconomics,
and numerous communications and posters at conferences.
